A custom house portrait for you or a friend to treasure: You can commission Beth to paint a portrait of your family home, shop, church or even your childhood home. These one-of- a-kind "portraits" capture the charm and character of a building that is important to you or your family and friends.

A house portrait makes a thoughtful, personal gift. The artwork is hand-drawn, not computer-generated.

Beth prefers to visit the site personally if the home is in Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda or San Leandro. For locations elsewhere, clients should supply a clear photograph. Home portraits range from $225 to $350; price depends upon the amount of research, drawing and painting required. Shipping and handling will be extra if required. For most East Bay commissions, Beth can deliver the artwork to you at no additional fee. House portraits include a neutral-tone, acid-free archival mat that fits an 11 x 14 frame (frame is not provided).

A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required before work begins. However, there is no obligation to purchase the final work if it is not to your liking. A handwritten, personal gift card can be included at your request for no extra charge.
